■ JOE MURRAY’S winner sent Hebburn through at the expense of Whitby.
Joao Gomes nipped in to put Hebburn ahead on 26 minutes and the impressive forward came close again just after the half hour.
Watts turned provider as Whitby began the second half much brighter and levelled within six minutes of the restart. The attacking midfielder flicked on for Jarrett Rivers to break and slot past the onrushing Daniel Cameron.
Jake Charles forced Cameron to save superbly low down. At the other end, Bland blocked from Joe Posthill.
