■ LOWER BRECK maintained their lead at the top of the league with a narrow win over Stalybridge Celtic.
In a lively start to the game with both teams starting on the front foot, it was Celtic who scored first.
Jack Irlam sent the ball across the area for Jordan Butterworth, who through a crowd of bodies, took aim before firing the ball into the net.
Four minutes later, however, the hosts were awarded a penalty when Lewis Buckley was brought down.
Buckley dusted himself down and dispatched his effort comfortably to bring the Breck level.
