■ ONLY two games survived the week’s downfalls, much to all clubs’ frustration and financial cost. Neither game affected the top five, but they impacted the relegation battle. Unfortunately for basement-boys Frenford, a 5–2 home defeat by Benfleet keeps them three points behind West Essex and four from safety.
