TRURO City slipped closer to relegation after they were held by play-off hopefuls in windswept Cornwall.
Despite the draw now seeing City 12 points from safety with five games to play, home boss John Askey once again hailed the spirit and determination of his charges, who dented the visitors’ quest to overhaul Carlisle United for third.
Conditions ensured free-flowing football was at a premium for both teams, but Truro arguably had the better of the chances with Jack Stretton, Ryan Law and Max Kinsey all going close.
