Scopes secures a double swoop

BILLERICAY Town boss Danny Scopes has continued his summer spending by snapping up Welsh defender Ben Isaacson from
Kettering Town.
The 21-year-old defender previously had spells at Norwich City Youth, AFC Sudbury and National League North side King’s Lynn Town before signing for Stamford and then Bedford Town.
Scopes has also swooped to sign former Millwall goalkeeper Joe Wright, who arrives from League Two side Barnet for an undisclosed fee.
Wright helped Eastbourne Borough to a National League South play-off spot in 2024-25.
