The 43-year-old won the FA Vase in his first season as manager at Belmont Road, then went one better by sealing last season’s Southern Counties East League Premier title to earn promotion to Step 4.
But just weeks later, Coyle replaced Dartford-bound Ben Greenhalgh as the manager of next season’s Isthmian South East rivals Margate.
