REAL BEDFORD continued their 100 per cent start to the season, but had to come from behind to do so at the Tugo Community Stadium.
The Pirates have now won three from three to brush off any fears of a hangover from last season’s agonising play-off final defeat to Spalding United.
Banbury started well pressing the visitors all over the park and took the lead through the press when Aaron McCreadie fired past Craig King to put the hosts ahead.
More pressure saw Joel Anker cross for Levi Steele on the stretch to head wide.
