BEACONSFIELD were thumped by Waltham Abbey as the home side kicked off their league campaign.
It looked like a positive start for Beaconsfield as keeper Lindrit Beqiri made a smart save.
However, he was soon beaten as Aiden Read headed in with 11 minutes played. Waltham Abbey doubled their lead almost immediately when Lewis Taaffe made it 2-0.
The Rams responded positively and created a few good chances as the half went on.
