■IN A BATTLE between two winless teams, it was perhaps no surprise that they had to settle for a point.
Chances were scarce early on, though Matty Stenson blazed over from close range after the Pitmen failed to clear. At the other end, Lewys Benjamin produced a smart stop to deny Lenni Cirino, while Sam McLintock’s powerful effort from 20 yards was well saved by Sam Hornby.
