Yate Town bowed out of the FA Trophy on penalties.
Yate had their first chance inside 15 minutes, as Marcus Day flicked the ball behind for Sam Hendy, who fired hard at Jack Turner but saw his effort saved.
Sholing had the next chance. Dotse got in behind the Yate backline and fired a low effort wide.
The second half fizzled out as the game headed to penalties.
After eight successful kicks, it came down to Yate needing to score to take it to sudden death.
Up stepped Marcus Day to take Yate’s fifth but he fired over, with Sholing going through.
