FROME TOWN boss Brian O’Donnell has confirmed Lloyd Chamberlain as his new assistant manager.

Chamberlain has been with the club for several years as a player and has also held the roles of youth and reserve team boss.

He has most recently been working as the club’s goalkeeper coach and also spent a time in caretaker charge of the Robins following Derek Graham’s departure in late September.

Chamberlain is delighted to have been installed as O’Donnell’s number two and told This Is Somerset: ‘I’m looking forward to working with Brian and, with his experience, to establish and improve the club at this level and hopefully further.

“Since I took on the caretaker role and stepped up to the management side of things the attitude, commitment and desire the lads have been showing made it an easy decision.

“It’s important we get that stability in place and I’m delighted that Brian wanted me to take on the role as his assistant.”
