Colwyn Bay sack manager Alan Morgan due to ‘economic reasons’

Colwyn Bay have announced that they have parted company with manager Alan Morgan for “economic reasons”.
The former Tranmere Rovers midfielder had been in charge for ten months and was just two points short of taking the club into play-offs last season.
The budget was reportedly cut for this campaign which lead to Colwyn losing seven players since the start of August.
The club are without a win in their last four games, losing three, including a defeat in the preliminary round.
Assistant manager Craig Hogg has agreed to take charge of first team affairs, supported by coach, Neil Coverley, while the board considers its options.
