U’S RUN SEES BARNES DEPART

PAUL BARNES’ reign in charge of Hastings United is over – just ten games into the new Isthmian Premier season. The former Dulwich Hamlet, Staines Town and Greenwich Borough boss paid the price following a wretched run of recent results. Barnes took over at the Pilot Field in May amidst a tumultuous period which saw former boss Gary Elphick and chairman Billy Wood step down following a change of ownership at the East Sussex club.His side started the season in fine form, undefeated in their first eight matches in League and Cup, only to be derailed...
