TWO goals from Harrison Fairman and another from Cory Thomas-Barker guided Western League Hallen into the quarter-finals of the competition.
There was little to choose between the two sides for much of the first half.
But the Armadillos finally nosed ahead two minutes before the interval when Thomas-Barker rode the challenge of Gornal defender Declan Bibb before firing into the net from a narrow angle.
