MALDONkept pace with the leaders and while Liam Nash’s 31st goal of the season was decisive, Dan Wilks was the difference between the sides.
The visitors roared out of the blocks and were ahead inside ten minutes when Nash finished well.
The home side could and perhaps should have been level before the break as Tom O’Connor was brilliantly denied.
Home keeper Ollie Bowles then pulled off his own outstanding save to deny Nash after he was played in.
