LONG-SERVING Jason Matthews’ Weymouth exit arrived just a day after he went public and asked for clarity on his and the club’s future.
Matthews’ three-andhalf years in charge at the Wessex Stadium was over on Tuesday.
The club are no longer considered one of the more wealthy in the division and have again failed to challenge for the Southern Premier play-offs this season as they have hovered around mid-table.
