AGONY FOR NOMADS AS SONS SEND THEM HOME

CONNAH’S QUAY NOMADS suffered extra time heartbreak as they bowed out of the IRN-BRU Cup 2-1 after taking a first half lead at Dumbarton in Scotland yesterday.
The Welsh Premier League side had most of the ball in the opening stages, but could not engineer a clear cut chance on goal in what was a highly competitive game.
It was the Nomads who took the lead from the penalty spot after 29 minutes when Callum Morris sent Scott Gallacher the wrong way to score.
