WILKES WALKS IN TO NEW VICS JOB

STEVE Wilkes has been appointed as manager of Northwich Victoria.
The former Darwen, Runcorn Linnets and Ashton Athletic boss, who led Padiham to the North West Counties Premier championship in 2013, has replaced Paul Moore who quit due to work commitments.
Wilkes has brought his coaching team of Steve Pickup and former Celtic and Burnley striker Andy Payton with him.
