WELLING kept up their strong away form as they ground out a hard-fought win at the Woodspring Stadium.
Weston actually started the stronger of the two sides with Jake Reid going close early on after some neat build-up play from Naby Diallo.
But on 13 minutes, they had some defending to do after Jack Jebb’s corner found Joe Healy. Danny Greenslade managed to clear the effort off the line.
Eli Phillips was the one who broke the deadlock when he caught the home side on the break and made no mistake with his neat finish.
