SHIELD: Desborough’s Waterworks Field ground

ATTENDED the FA Vase tie between Desborough Town and Eastwood Community last Saturday and fell in love with Desborough’s Waterworks Field ground as soon as I handed my £5 over.
I loved the traditional feel to the ground with the old stand along the side with the bench seating and the fabulous cover behind the goal where the roof seems to reach over and shield you from the rain.
