DON’T FREEZE US OUT

WITH the big freeze already sweeping in to some areas of the country, I hope Non-League clubs and referees consider us fans first when carrying out pitch inspections. No doubt they’ll be plenty of games postponed due to frozen and waterlogged pitches over the winter – and you always hear stories of fans travelling hundreds of miles only to find out, upon their arrival at the ground, that the game is postponed. Clubs and officials must do all they can to ensure fans as much notice as possible.
