I WOULD like to register my thanks to all at Nantwich Town for their outstanding courtesy and professionalism on my recent visit to cover the Brazil v Russia Under 17s game on behalf of Reading Football Club.
It was a pleasure to listen to the various anecdotes regarding club and player history, provided by people with decades of service to Non-League football, as opposed to the ‘one arm bandit’ mentality of a number of professional football clubs, which we often experience these days.
