Alan’s given us a lifeline

AS WITH many clubs at the moment, Carlton Town of the Step 4 Northern Premier League Division One South East have a cash-flow problem.
But through one very committed supporter, Alan Murphy, who is also the chair of the fans group (@CarltonFans), there is a glimmer of hope.
Alan has set up an initiative whereby for a sum of £10 per month you are entered into the 100 ball club draw.
It has given this famous club a financial lifeline.
On Easter Monday, Carlton were due to take on Ilkeston Town in a massive local derby – a game and revenue stream which they will now miss out on.
