SPIREITE SMITH IS MAKING A MOVE

HARD-WORKING club secretary Nigel Smith has left Chesterfield to take up a similar role at League One new boys Swindon Town.
Smith linked up with the Spireites in 2018 after leaving a role at the Derbyshire Football Association.
“It is with a heavy heart that I leave the club I have supported all my life,” he explained through the club’s website.
“I have loved the time I have served my club and I am still a mad Spireite.
