STOCKPORT County boss Jim Gannon was left drooling over John Rooney’s goal-of-the-round contender, which helped his side spring a surprise win against Rochdale.
Rooney’s stunning goal from inside his own half was added to by Alex Reid, before Matty Lund bagged a consolation for Dale.
“John’s got that in him and if this is on Match of the Day it will be one that they show over and over again,” said Gannon.
