Former Hitchin hitman Brett’s Stot a new job

Donnelly, 37, who was player-assistant manager at Biggleswade Town before returning to Hitchin in the summer of 2019 as player-coach, takes over on May 8.

FORMER hotshot Brett Donnelly has taken over as the new manager of Spartan South Midlands Division One side .

Donnelly, 37, who was player-assistant manager at before returning to Hitchin in the summer of 2019 as player-coach, takes over on May 8.

At New Roker Park, he fills the gap left by Luke Gregson who resigned last month due to family and work commitments.

Donnelly is also a former Stotfold player and has also turned out for and . He quit playing last July after a 21-year career.

Donnelly scored 52 goals in 198 appearances for Hitchin.
