DAVID OLUFEMI’s third goal of the season clinched a tight game for Bishop’s Stortford, closing the gap on Isthmian Premier Division leaders Hornchurch.
The 28-year-old showed a cool head from the spot six minutes into the second-half, slotting the ball home beyond Wingate goalkeeper Ben Goode, after Ryan Charles was fouled by Camron Gbadebo.
Hornchurch’s 1-1 draw at Haringey means Stortford are now three points adrift, though have played one game more (36).
