Gloves are off! Ex-pros to hit the ring

A number of current and former Non-League veterans are to swap their shooting boots for the boxing ring after being signed up for a top red-carpet charity event.

Fourteen ex-professionals have been included on the card for A Night to Remember III – the latest event put on by Pro Project Promotions, founded by former Arsenal and Barnet goalkeeper Graham Stack.

Lining up at the Grosvenor Hotel, London on October 22 are a number of stars who have featured in Non-League over the last few years.

They are: Nile Ranger, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Gary Madine, Sebastien Bassong, Matthew Briggs, Armand Traore, Harlee Deen, Simon Cox, Lee Cook, Leroy Lita, Anthony Gardner, David Norris, Martin Woods and Jamie Sendles-White.

Pro Project Promotions has become one of the most talked-about names in charity sport, raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for good causes with the participating ex-pros willing to relive the toughest ten weeks of their post-playing lives, all for causes bigger than themselves.
