OXFORD CITY climbed to the top of National League North with a thumping win over Chorley at the MGroup Stadium.
City started strongest, with Ty Marsh continually looking a threat, and was denied after eight minutes as his powerful effort at the near post was well saved.
After being denied a goal by the flag, he got his goal as a deflected cross was not dealt with by Li-Bau Stowell, with Marsh given the simple task of converting from close in.
