ONa day when Hungerford formally opened their new stand and floodlights the team couldn’t match the off-field celebrations and fell to their second consecutive 1-0 home defeat.
There were very few chances created by either side in the first-half stalemate and both keepers were largely untroubled.
Havant had a couple of half chances, but failed to trouble Lewis Ward in the Hungerford goal and the first 45 minutes remained goalless.
There was an improvement in the second half as the visitors came at Hungerford and Ward made a great save to keep out Jason Prior’s shot....
