MITFORD AT THE DOUBLE AS POPPIES’ RUN GOES ON

A TRE Mitford brace pulled Kettering Town eight points clear of the relegation zone.
Mitford put his side ahead after 30 minutes, a gorgeous through ball from Dan Nti picked out the forward, who slotted past the keeper.
The Poppies were defending for the majority of the second half, but they doubled their lead as Mitford picked up his second of the day.
The visitors broke forward and found Mitford on the left, his accurate finish hit the inside of the post before finding the net.
