SPARTANS HIT FOR SIX AS TIGERS ROAR TO TOP SPOT

AN ELEVEN-minute hat-trick from hot-shot Matt McClure maintained Gloucester’s 100 per cent record and took the Tigers two points clear at the top.
For hapless Blyth, it was a second league defeat in three with 11 goals already conceded. Paul Blackett gave the visitors a third-minute lead but McClure’s quick-fire treble saw the rampant hosts go nap by half-time.
Tommy O’Sullivan’s 90th minute strike completed the rout, Blyth playing with 10 men for the final 25 minutes.
