THIS contest took time to heat up after a delayed kick-off owing to a motorway incident which held up not only the visitors but also two members of the Chorley team.

A tough battle went Brackley’s way after they stepped up a gear in the last half-hour, the introduction of livewire substitute Twariq Yusuf proving a master-stroke.
His movement and trickery increasingly unsettled a flagging Magpies’ side and fittingly it was he who won the match with some five minutes to play.
Brackley broke at speed down the right and the incoming low centre was dispatched...
