PLAY-OFF chasing Banbury overcome Hayes & Yeading with a first half strike being the game changing moment.
Early on, the visitors had a chance to go ahead but Conor McDonagh fired well over from close range.
They continued to attack as Mark Bell’s corner reached Luke Carnell at the far post, only for him to hit the upright with a golden opportunity.
Hayes did not look like creating much until the lively Sahr Kabba forced a corner out of Carnell, but the home side could not capitalise.
