AN unexpectedly entertaining end-of-season encounter went the way of the Bedfordshire side.
It was all-out attack from both sides, with Arlesey’s Jack Vasey the first to score. A rasping shot from the hosts’ Gary Burrell followed shortly after, which flew into the top corner.
Parity only lasted a minute, as an error in defence allowed Kim Forsythe to find the far corner. Vasey added a third before Jake Cass reduced the arrears just after the half-hour mark.
