DORCHESTER Town dug deep to defend their slender advantage as Redditch fought hard after the break to try and grab a share of the spoils.
The only goal of an entertaining game came on the half hour and proved a cracker as Dorchester loanee Archie Collins seized on a loose ball to beat Reds keeper Ethan Ross with a 25-yard driver.
The Magpies had threatened early when Ross Carmichael met Kyle Egan’s free-kick, with the header deflecting out.
