TEN-MAN Ives battled all the way to take a point from the Puritans but this is probably a game they will feel they could so easily have won.
The game started in controversial fashion as referee Stephen Bates overruled his assistant and waved play on. Ben Baker seized the opportunity to burst into the box. Keeper Manny Agboola parried Baker’s low shot but Jake Newman bundled home the loose ball to put Ives in front after only 18 seconds.
