AFC RUSHDEN & Diamonds deservedly took the three points in this keenly contested match.
The away side took the lead after just 69 seconds.
A mix-up in the home defence saw Albie Hopkins tuck under Marcus Garnham.
Leiston keeper Marcus Garnham then picked up a knock but carried on.
After Tom Bullard gave away a free-kick on the halfway line, Tom Lorraine headed in the set piece.
Minutes later, Garnham was replaced by Harry Knights, with Joe Jefford going in goal.
