HALESOWEN put their first points of the season on the board with a narrow win.
It came in the second half through Dan Meredith and got Russ Penn’s side up and running following their opening day defeat at Bury Town.
Lewis Ison fired over the bar in the third minute after early chaos in the visiting defence before Frank Norris was put through on the Yeltz goal two minutes later, but defender Matt Preston made a crucial saving tackle.
