Obodo’s brace helps to down the Dolphins

POOLE fell to their second successive home defeat of the season allowing Basingstoke to collect their first points of the campaign on a baking hot day, with a brace for Miles Obodo being the difference between the two teams.
Basingstoke started the brighter with Bernie Tanner’s header comfortably saved by Adam Parkes, before a dangerous low cross was well defended by Owen Dore.
For Poole, Ik Hill saw a shot blocked and then Joe Oastler headed wide.
