WILL GUTIERREZ RAMIREZ struck an 18th minute winner for Thatcham to see them end the season in eighth place.
The Reading FC loanee fired home a low shot from 12 yards after picking up Harvey Harry’s cross from the left.
Town had applied early pressure, with Supporter’s Player of the Season Jordi Ebanda sidefooting narrowly wide, while Samuel Roberts made a flying save to keep out Jordan Brown’s free-kick.
