LITTLEHAMPTON Town won their first league game since November with a hard-fought win against Sheppey United.
The home side took the advantage in the 24th minute when Marshall Ball headed the Golds into the lead.
Sheppey United created very few chances and it was the home side that looked much stronger.
Player-manager George Gaskin gave the relegation-threatened side some breathing room with a well-worked goal ten minutes from time.
