■ ASHFORD Town ended a five-match losing run on Friday to boost their survival hopes and damage those of their opponents.
Archie Larkham, only promoted to the starting line-up in the minutes before kick-off after teammate Basim Mirtahmasebi succumbed to a muscle injury, scored the game’s decisive goal after 37 minutes.
