SEVENTIES ACE CALLS IT A DAY

FORMER England international Steve Hunt this week quit as manager of Cowes Sports just three games into Sydenhams Wessex Premier season.
The 61-year-old, who played as a winger for Aston Villa, Coventry City, West Bromwich Albion and New York Cosmos in the 1970s and 80s winning two England caps, denied there had been any fall-out with the Yachtsmen, just that he merely wanted a break from the game after 50 years of involvement.
Cowes won their first two league games, beating Hamworthy United 3-0 and then Farnham Town 2-1, but last Saturday lost 1-0 to Bemerton Heath Harlequin...
