BISHOP Stortford extended their good run of form with a fine win over promotion rivals Worthing.
Stortford have only lost twice in 17 games since Steve Smith and Jamie Cureton took over and this win at Woodside Road was arguably their most impressive to date.
Worthing goalkeeper Kleton Perntpeou was called into action early on by palming away Luke Callander’s effort.
The keeper then superbly denied Alfie Mason’s volley despite being off-balance and turning the shot over the bar with his knee.
