CHRIS DICKSON’S penalty salvaged a point for Hornchurch after the Hornets had buzzed around to good effect in the second quarter of the game.
The Urchins started well and Ellis Brown had an early shot saved by Hornets keeper Bradley House.
Dickson headed straight at House and then had his 15 yard effort well saved.
Horsham had plenty of possession, while only occasionally threatening before a Kieron Monlouis effort had Urchins keeper Joe Wright scrambling to make a save.
Urchin Mickey Parcell fired a shot just wide.
