MARINE succumbed to titlechasers Warrington, a defeat which leaves the Mariners entrenched in the relegation zone.
Warrington began the game on the front foot and Jake Kirby’s drive from the angle was parried by home stopper Paddy Wharton.
James Murray glanced a header narrowly wide in the first half for the Whites from a Charley Edge cross, with Tony Gray doing likewise at the other end from ex- Marine loanee Bohan Dixon’s cross.
