■ BARTON Rovers’ sorry season ended with defeat to mid-table Thame United.
Rovers must now play against a Step Five side in a play-off game next weekend which will determine their league status for next season.
The hosts had the better of the opening exchanges, but Thame took the lead in the 16th minute through Greg Hackett after he was played through by David Pearce.
United doubled their lead on the stroke of half-time after Hackett took the corner quickly to Matt Peake-Pijen and fired his shot into the bot tom corner.
