IN what was essen tially a dead rubber at Hillgrounds, Cirencester’s long journey to Bedfordshire ended with an easy victory.
The visitors made an excel lent start and opened the scor ing after just two minutes. A front-post header from a cor ner fell to Jake Lee to volley into the net from close range.
The Centurions could have doubled their lead from the spot after six minutes, but Lee shot wide. Then just past the half-hour mark it was two, Adulai Sambu made a great run through the middle and slotted past George Rose.
