KENDAL Town stole three points off play-off chasing Brighouse Town with a late equaliser from Joshua Draycott.
Play had been pretty even in the opening 20 minutes of the game before Ben Wharton swivelled and beat Will Kitchen from 20 yards to put Brighouse one up.
Town opened the second half with two missed chances through Ben Atkinson, who ballooned over, and Sam Hewitt who headed narrowly wide from a James Pollard cross.
Kendal had a chance to level in the 59th minute after Charlie Bailey fell in the box, and the referee surprisingly awarded a penalty.
